Several reports today have Neil Adams chasing Cameron Jerome, Stoke City striker, reports surfaced in Scotland that Celtic had, a bid accepted by Stoke but the player is seemingly not keen on playing in Scotland. Latest reports suggests now that Jerome will be signing for City in a deal thought to be around £2mill.
Jerome first burst onto the scene with Cardiff City, his goals and displays earned him a move to Birminghamhelping them to promotion to the Premier League. He was sold to Stoke as Birmingham were relegated in 2011 he has not been so prolific in front of goal at Stoke and was allowed to go to Palace on loan last season.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes has made it quite clear Jerome is not in his planning leaving the player back in the UK while the rest of his squad went to Germany for a pre season tour.
I seem to recall that we were linked earlier with Jerome last season under Chris Hughton
