According to Talksport  long-term City target Ola Toivonen is on the verge of joining French side Rennes, according to Dutch newspaper AD.

Toivonen came close to transferring to Norwich from PSV Eindhoven last summer but eventually rejected the chance to move to Carrow Road.  But talks between the player and PSV have broken down and he is now set to join Ligue 1 Rennes in a bargain £2m deal.

Funny I thought that the inrest had died when he turned us down...
