The Yorkshire Post  today claims that City and rivals  Middlesbrough are likely to go head to head for the services of Huddersfield's Midfielder Adam Clayton

Clayton, Town’s player-of-the-season last term, has caught the eye of City along with Boro and Cardiff,  he  was the subject of a failed £1m bid from Brighton in January.
