As we said earlier Daniel Ayala was close to signing for Middlesbrough, according to The Northern Echo he has signed on a 93 day emergancy loan

Ayala has been on Boro's radar for some time, but after failing to sign him in the summer, caretaker manager Mark Venus has been allowed to bring in the Spaniard on a 93-day emergency loan deal to ease the side's defensive problems.
