Boxing Day Sales Start Early At West Ham

Following an article in the Daily Mail this morning it seems that the boxing day sales have started early at West Ham with City having agreed a cut price deal for Matt Jarvis to join the club on a permanent deal for just £2.5m - representing a massive loss for West Ham who seem to want him off the wage bill given that they paid £10.75m for him back in 2012 when he joined them from Wolves

When fit this season, Matt Jarvis who joined on a season long loan on transfer deadline day has been clerly impressive and is seemingly a week or so away from being available for the first team again, the worrying side of the reported 4.5 year deal is the fact that as a player he has been injury prone for a long time, but at the transfer fee being quoted I'm not convinced we have a right to complain and should welcome him with open arms

Norwich are also reported to be in talks with FC Utrecht over a £7m deal for their striker Sebastien Haller.

The France Under 21 striker has scored 10 goals in 13 Eredivisie league games so far this season, and has netted 11 in 17 last term, having joined from Auxerre, which represents the kind of conversion rate the team are so desperate for.
