Derby County midfielder Bradley Johnson has admitted that he is "sad to see" his former club Norwich City get relegated from the Premiership last night.
Alex Neil's side were relegated despite securing a 4-2 win over Watford in their final home match of the season before travelling to Everton on Saturday.
The Canaries' fate was in the hands of Sunderland, who managed to ease to a 3-0 victory over Everton at the Stadium of Light, a result that ultimately led to Everton manager Roberto Martinez being sacked today
Johnson, who left Norwich to join Derby last year following a four-year spell at the club which saw him become a firm favourite with the fans at the club, tweeted: "Sad to see my old club @NorwichCityFC go down tonight. Had some great times there. Feel for the fans and everyone connected to the club."
