Jacob Butterfield  has returned to Norfolk after his loan spell at Bolton, he  made four starts in two month-long spells at the Reebok, and four appearances from the bench.

Butterfield's deal at the Reebok Stadium was due to expire following Saturday's FA Cup fixture against Sunderland, but City have opted to recall the former Barnsley midfielder early.

It would seem that Butterfield has been called back a little earlier  possibily to play in the game at Peterborough, so senior players can be rested.
