In a move which could benefit all parties City midfielder Jacob Butterfield could be set for a loan move back to former club Barnsley for a month.
It is suggested that Butterfield mayl be allowed back to Oakwell for a temporary spell in order to get some much-needed first-team action.
Butterfield left Barnsley for Norwich in the summer but has struggled to break into the team at Carrow Road following injury last season and has yet to make a senior start for the Canaries.
His lack of game-time at the minute is not benefiting anyone and it is thought City boss Chris Hughton is happy for him to leave for just a month with a switch back to the Tykes a distinct possibility.
