Celtic are reported to be close to making a deadline day offer for City's Wes Hoolahan, they sent scouts to St Andrews to watch the playmaker. Hoolahan started the game but was substituted in the 89th minute by former Celtic striker Gary Hooper.
I am unsure on this one, I am a fan of the Little Irish man and see him as one of our most creative players, but sometimes he appears to be difficult to fit into a system, several managers have struggled with what to do with him. Also we must look at his age, he is 32 and the chance to recieve a decent amount for him must come into the thinking of any manager. Also it gives the player a good pay day with the added bonus of possible European football. It must be appealing
