Several reports this morning suggest Celtic are very interested in talking City striker james vaughan on season long loan with a view to a permanent deal , Celtic boss, Neil Lennon has previously tried to capture Vaughton when the player was with Everton.

I sincerely hope that this goes no further, Vaughan has had terrible luck with injuries since Lambert signed him, he has come back so far this season looking sharper than ever.  I believe the player has a lot to prove to himself, management  and supporters that he can do a job for City.  I would like him to have that chance  and I am sure Chris Hughton will also share that view.
