I don't know if I have missed something or this is the first news of Celtic wanting Robert Snodgrass. apparently Neil Lennon (Celtic Boss) was at Craven Cottage the scene of the lastest debacle to run the eye over Lifelong Celtic fan Snodgrass.
This is the first I have seen of it but the Daily Record seems to imply that some form of story has been published before. Celtic of course want a cut price deal of £4.5million while City want to hang out for £6 million.
Whether there is any substance to the story who knows in this crazy mixed up world that football.
Daily Record Story
CELTIC'S bid to land Robert Snodgrass will hinge on whether Norwich City are willing to drop their asking price.
Record Sport understands the Canaries are looking for £6 million for the Scotland international who has 18 months left on his Carrow Road contract.
But Hoops boss Neil Lennon was hoping to snare the 26-year-old for around £4.5 million.
Lennon watched Snodgrass against Fulham on Tuesday night in an FA Cup replay at Craven Cottage - and is aware that the winger is a lifelong Celtic fan.
Record Sport understands Snodgrass IS willing to take a drop in wages to seal a dream move to Parkhead - but is waiting to see if Norwich will negotiate with Celtic on the transfer fee.
The Scot started his career at Livingston before moving to Leeds United in 2008.
He earned a £4 million move to Carrow Road in July 2012 and has 15 Scotland caps.
