City's Reward for a Struggling Victory, Spur's at Home

City's reward for beating Doncaster Rovers this evening is a home draw against Tottenham Hotspur, a single goal from Alex Tettey in the first half was enough to overcome the League One side.  In truth City again made hard work in beating a team from the lower league just  as they did in the last round against Scunthorpe.

Despite making a whole host of changes, plus giving debuts to Bunn, Tettey and Butterfield; Hughton set up with an attacking formation, d goals were still hard to come by.   Harry Kane had to taken off on a stretcher, further limiting Hughton options up front, again the questions arise over Vaughan's loan, weren't the possibilities of injuries taken into account.

Capital One Cup fourth round draw:

Sunderland v Middlesbrough

Swindon v Aston Villa

Wigan v Bradford

Leeds v Southampton

Norwich v Tottenham

Liverpool v Swansea

Chelsea v Man Utd

Reading v Arsenal

Ties to be played week commencing October 29.
