I decided to follow up a little more on the Curtis Davies story.    I contacted a Journo I know, he got back to me with the following:

Thanks for your email.

I have spoke to someone at the club today and they've confirmed that Reading have made an enquiry for Davies. Norwich did in the summer.

There have been no bids from either club for Davies, but Birmingham have left both with their valuation.

The only bid we've had is for Burke .

Lee Clark tells me that Davies, Butland, King, Redmond and even Elliott has been subject of enquires, but no bids yet.

Expect to hear something tonight
