Rumours circulating around Newcastle tipping that Chris Hughton could well make a move for full back Danny Simpson, a player he took to the club during his spell in charge.

Simpson in the last year of his contract is stalling on signing a new deal, as it appears as common knowledge that Manager Alan Pardew wants to sign a new full back,   which points to Simpson having a bit part in his plans.

Reports suggest  that the player is also being tracked by QPR and Fulham  Pardew has urged him to put pen to paper or move on. Nothing will probably be sorted until Simpson returns from Holdiday in the States
