They say all good things come to an end, the unbeaten run ends in a frustrating game, No matter what City tried nothing worked, City laboured for much of the game.
You just knew that Wigan would park a Double Decker bus across the line, getting all 10 men behind the ball at all times. What made it worse was Wigan scored early and then spent the rest defending and holding on to that lead. Had we scored first it would have been a totally different story.
City did not trouble Carson all night, which is a liitle disappointing, Wigan defended for their lives. It is simply a case of not being City's night, there is still a long way to go, we are really no worse off. Much better, to lose points to a side at the bottom of the league also better to get this out of the way now than later when there is less time to recover.
A case of after the Lord Mayor's..... Let's make Millwall Pay
