As we reported earlier,  Elliot Ward was rumoured to be heading to Bristol City,  while some supporters chose to call us liars.

The deal failed to materalize on deadline day as it is thought personal terms couldn't be reached. So the west Country club tried againt to get Ward when the emergancy loan window opened for League clubs. 

But but the move has again collapsed after both parties failed to agree personal terms,  Bristol manager Derek McInnes is in the market for a new central defender and had made Ward his top target.

There will not be a shortage of clubs interested in taking Ward on board, if wages can be met.
