Birmingham's England goalkeeping coach Dave Watson has asked permission to speak to Norwich concerning joining up with former boss Hughton.

It surprised many that he never came across with Chris Hughton when he initally signed with Norwich, this can only be good news for City's keepers.

Meanwhile Korey Smith signed a 12 month contract extension yesterday, Hughton is now set to open talks with Wes Hoolahan about a new contract,  while these are excellent news, the one that needs sorting is Grant Holt; if only to stop any indecision and unrest.
