Former Birmingham Manager Gary Rowett Bookies Favourite For Norwich Job

Former Canaries boss Alex Neil left his role as manager yesterday with the Championship club sitting in eighth, nine points off sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday who occupy the last play-off spot.

Having fallen out of the Premier League last season, the club were expected to challenge at the top end of the division, but that hasn’t been the case.

Rowett remains out of a job having been sacked by Birmingham midway through December, though he has since revealed he has turned down a number of offers for a swift return to management as he waits for the right one.

The former Burton boss is the 11-8 favourite with Sky Bet.

Other names seemingly in the frame include the recently out-of-work Mark Warburton, Alan Pardew and Nigel Pearson.
