We are always being reminded what a short career football is, so it was pleasing to see Robert Snodgrass make his return to the Hull City first team squad last night, even if he didn't get on the pitch in the end, having been out of action for 15 months with a disclocated knee he suffered in his first competitive match for the club last year.
Snodgrass has been building up his fitness again obver the last 6 weeks or so, and has had a number of outing for the under-21's in preperation for his much anticipated first team return.
It wasn't a great night for Snodgrass or his club in the end as they were beaten 2-0 by a Derby team containing three ex Canaries in Jason Shackell, Chris Martin and 2 goal match winnder Jacob Butterfield.
