Palace boss Ian Holloway has played down reports linking him with a loan move for Jacob Butterfield.
The midfielder is back at Carrow Road after a spell on loan with Bolton, while Holloway needs midfield cover with Kagisho Dikgacoi linking up with South Africa in the African Cup of Nations.
But Holloway said: "There is nobody we should be linked with.
"I've made lots of phone calls, which I won't talk about. But there is nobody we are linked with at the moment.
"There are lots of fishing nets going out to see what we can get but we are not ready to trawl them in yet."
