Accoring to Sky Sports, Chris Hughton has made contact with Grant Holt, seemingly while on holiday in the States  but is still to meet personally.

Hughton is supposed to have commented:

"I have spoken to Grant but not met him yet,"   "But when I get back I will meet with him and make it clear that I want him to stay."

Whether this is Sky making up fairy stories again who knows ? Only those involved,  if it is correct is shows what sort of manager we have at the club.
