A little more on the story we carried the other day that Hughton was interested in ex loanee and Forest keeper Lee Camp. According to the Mirror Hughton has virtually signed the keeper; just to make it a little more pleasing right under the noses of those down the A140.
The Mirror Reports
Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is set to snap up keeper Lee Camp on a free - and beat neighbours Ipswich to his signature. Camp is being released by Nottingham Forest’s Alex McLeish and sorted out terms with Hughton over the weekend in whirlwind talks.
Northern Ireland international Camp is being offered a contract for the season as the Canaries look to make up for the loss of injured John Ruddy. Hughton wants Camp as competition for Mark Bunn as Ruddy faces a longer spell on the sidelines than expected.
