So Hughton is unaware of any bids for our Wessi, it doesn't mean there hasn't been one,  but only that Hughton doesn't know, I could imagine that he was very much involved in preparation for Saturday's game and would not want to be sidetracked with news of such a pathetic bid, especially from an ex manager.

So in my eyes it does not mean a bid has not been lodged, only that Hughton has not been informed yet.  I know that could be seen as being a bit far fetched,  but possible. 

Talking of transfers and possibles, we are said to be showing interest in Newcastle winger Jonas Gutierrez, apparently to be made available for transfer by Alan Pardew.  Gutierrez has slipped down the order at Newcastle, and is keen to get first team football to get his name out there for the Argentine squad for Brazil.

My only concern is that QPR are also said to be interested and they can shuck money at him, but if he is only good enough for Championship football then no thanks, although the way we are playing he will fit in for next season.
