It is very sad when a Old City legend passes on, and the loss of John Bond is no exception, a flamboyant and larger than life charactor, Bond went onto become City second longest serving manager. I can't remember a game I missed at home when he was the boss, and always has a special place in my memories for bringing Martin Peters amongst other to play at Carrow Road. His brand of flowing attacking football became the benchmark for many City managers.
I had the opportunity of meeting the man once or twice over his years here, he always had time to talk about the game he loved.
Our sincerest condolence go to John's family
