We are hearing the Simon Lappin has been released by the club and is now a free agent.  It comes as no real surprise as Lapps hasn't hardly featured under the Hughton regime.   

Lappin has been a model professional going through very difficult and needless times under The Rodent (Glenn Roeder)  during that time Lapps conducted himself with true professional dignity.  He saw that through and became a large of Paul Lambert's squad playing many times. He just finsihed a loan spell with ex Canary stalwart Malky McKay's Cardiff.
