Our second defender of the transfer window is now through the door and on our books with the news that 27 year old Timm Klose has now passed his medical and subject to clearance and signed a 3.5 year deal to joing the club from Wolfsburg subject to the relevant clearances being received for an undisclosed(surprise surprise!) fee reported to be €10m (£7.4m)
Klose was born in Frankfurt, West Germany, to a German father and a Swiss mother, and holds both citizenships
Alex Neil said: "Timm has got plenty of experience having played in the Bundesliga, in the Champions’ League and for his country, which will be an asset to us.
"As a player, he’s got good technical ability and he’s solid in the air. He can also play at either right centre-back or left centre-back.
"We’re delighted to have completed this deal and to have added Timm to our squad."
Klose, 27, featured against England in Switzerland’s recent Euro 2016 qualifying campaign as they finished runners-up to England, meaning they secured a spot at this summer’s tournament.
