Neil Lennon has poured cold water on two media stories which invole him. first he denies there is anything in the rumour linking him to City's Robert Snodgrass. It was suggested that the Bhoys are keen on bringing the Glasgow-born forward back home.
Lennon commented when questioned after yesterdays game at Motherwell.
"There's nothing in that. I'm going to get linked with a lot of players but I'm not going to talk about players who are contracted to other clubs."
He also scotched rumours linking him as a possible replacement for Chris Hughton, should Hughton be relieved of his duties at Carrow Road
He added: "It's just speculation, but I think they won (against Hull City) so I'm delighted for Chris. I think he'll be safe for another while.
"He's doing a good job there and keeping them out of the bottom three.
"I cannot help the speculation, I'm flatted but he's a good man and a good manager in that job so good luck to him."
It is a little bit of a twist, but Lennon could get both of these without having to dip into his kitty at Celtic. Should Hughton depart and Lennon gets the nod, he will be managing Snodgrass.
