According to sources in Lancashire,  Newcastle striker Leon Best is weighing up the offers he has on the table, which are said to be from City,  Blackburn and Southampton.

The Toon striker is believed to have been offered a lucrative deal by Rovers, but it is yet be seen whether he will be prepared to drop out of the Premier League.  Chris Hughton knows the player very well having signed him when he was in charge at St James Park,  many fans in Newcastle believe that the striker played some of his best football under Hughton.
