Manager Rumour: Norwich Want To Interview Gary Rowett

Norwich started their search on Sunday for Alex Neil's after a 2-2 draw with Blackburn in the Championship but the club is currently without a chief executive after Jez Moxley left after just a few months in the roele, with finance director Steve Stone currently acrting as CEO.

The Mirror reports ex-Birmingham boss Rowett,43, will be given an interview after impressing turning Brum from relegation candidates to promotion hopefuls on a shoestring.

The ambitious boss, who learnt his trade at Burton, was controversially sacked by Blues in December for offending the club's new Chinese owners by turning down a new contract.

He is now available without compensation and Brum have slumped from seventh under him to 17th under successor Gianfranco Zola, who is under huge pressure already.
