Nottingham Forest's new manager  Alex McLeish has stated he would like to take City's Elliot Ward back to Forest for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent deal.

Wardy was left out of Hughton's 25 man premier league squad, so is clearly surplus to requirements although still under contract to City.  I am sure this move would be benefical to all parties.  While is appears Ward isn't quite up to the standard what Hughton requires, he never really let us down and always gave it his best shot.
