Perhaps Chris Hughton would like to make a move for another player from what has become a sort of feeder club for City,   Leeds Utd's “Luciano Becchio has handed in a transfer request  which looks to have been reluctanly accepted., after talks over a new contract broke down.

A very skilful player and one many believe will grace the Premier League, he has played 221 matches in all competition for Leeds, scoring 86 times.

Surely he represnts a far better prospect than some of the names that been linked with City
