Despite City CEO David McNally denying via Twitter newspaper reports that City have placed a bid and held talks with FC Utrecht's  striker Jacob Mulenga. 

The DailyMail online claims that talks have taken place.  A case of who do you want to believe, our club, or a national newspaper which isn't always  known to be reliable and sometime likes to redo old stories

,The paper also claim Mulenga could be  an option for Reading also.
