Norwich City board to 'take their time' appointing new Chief Executive

The chairman of Norwich City football club Ed Balls insists the board will take their time in appointing a new chief executive, even though the new football season starts three weeks today.

He was speaking at the opening of the new Academy facilities at Colney yesterday.

That was performed by Delia Smith, Michael Wynn Jones and Michael Foulger to mark their twenty years as club directors.

Since David McNally's resignation in May, the club has had Steve Stone working in an interim role. But Mr Balls says they're determined to get the right appointment, no matter how long it takes.
