Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey is set to captain the England Under-21 side as they face off against Kosovo's under-21s.
Godfrey only made his debut for the young Three Lions team on Friday as he came off the bench in a 3-2 win over Turkey.
But the Daily Mail claims he will get the armband as he starts the Kosovo clash.
"It's incredible for me," Godfrey said about the honor to reporters.
"A real proud moment for me and my family. I'm really looking forward to leading the boys out there and hopefully I can top a great night off with three points.
"The last month been good - a massive learning curve. Learning on the job, really.
"A lot of us in the Norwich team haven't played in the Premier League before. It's what I've aimed to play all my life. It's why young boys start playing football, to play at the highest level. I'm really enjoying it."
