Not a Bad Summer's Work

Well all the worry, and hand wringing is over until January at least, Redmond, Hooper Howson and Martin are still in the buiulding, no late silly money offers for anyone.  I have to take my cap off and salute Neil Adams and David McNally in their dealings, I am sure there cannot be many City followers who boxes have not been ticked.

It was good to Becchio loaned out to Rotherham at least the guy will get to play some games,  and perhaps get his confidence back, I feel he has had a rotten time here.   Mr Hughton is the man who has to take major responsibility for his treatment.   I was told that Becchio was only purchased as a way of offloading Morison and his big wage, what truth is in that I don't know  but the treatment the player received makes me think .

The score sheet looks like this

Jerome, Ceullar, ONeill, Hoolveld Odjidja, McGranles, Miquel, Thompson, Lafferty, Grabban

Snodgrass, Surman, Becchio   guess who we forgot   Pilkington

Not a bad summer's work,  I do expect to see perhaps one or two loaned out to lower leagues when the emergancy windows opens next week.   My only question mark remains over Seb Bassong just what is going on here.  I would have thought he would have been shipped out if only to free up his wages
