I do struggle a little to take on board the latest rumours regarding keepers,    yes Lambert may well want Ruddy, but would Hughton put all his eggs in the basket to get a 19 year old ?  

When an ex international and good keeper  also sits at Birmingham  Ben Foster, plus Hughton knows a certain keeper at Newcastle  who has done his apprentership at City,  Frazer Forster.

Both of whom would cost perhaps less that the £4 million being quoted for Butland.
