City keeper John Ruddy responded to the rumours started by the national press about him linking up with Lambert again  at Villa.  Speaking on the Social Network site Twitter, directly from his return from honeymoon;

with regards to these rumours that everyone is tweeting me about I don’t know where they have come from, I have no desire to leave NCFC.

West Ham have signed Wigan Athletic's  Mohamed Diame on a 3 year deal as soon as his current contract expires on July 1
