It can hardly come as a surprise really though can it, given that the player now seemingly finds himself 4th choice right back having started the season 1st choice - the 31-year-old is now keen to move on in search of regular first-team football and a number of Championship clubs are keen to take him if he is willing to drop a division.
The front runners in this race to get his signiature seem to be Reading, there has been talk of a number of Championship clubs in the last few days but they seem to be the front runners now, I guess time will tell.
I doubt any fee we may receive for him will be huge though given his contract is up in the summer, no point having him sat on our books costing us money and then leaving on a free....
