St Neots Town boss Matt Clements is hoping to use his new job with Norwich City to forge links with the Championship club.
Clements, who took the reins at Rowley Park last January, last month landed a weekday role working for Norwich's regional development programme.
All of which he believes will be beneficial to his other job as Saints boss – but only once he has settled into his new position with the Canaries.
“It's something I really enjoy and it keeps me busy,” he said. “From a St Neots perspective, it's always good to build relationships.
“We've got good links with Peterborough United and Cambridge United already, and hopefully we can do the same with Norwich now.
“I will get my feet under the table a bit first though, then discuss it. But if we can get more relationships with professional clubs, it matters hugely.
“I'm not just talking about taking players on loan either, but forming links which help sustain the club, which is far more important.”
