Sticky Bunn .. As Keeper earns Top Mark

What a shame that that Taarbt's penalty will steal the headlines going down as a miss,  But Mark Bunn deserves all the credit for a top save, he gave the kick away with a sort of body check trip with the knee, which I think was a little soft. but he read Taarbt perfectly dining low to his left.

A day when both keepers stole the limelight with top drawer saves at both ends.  City for their part edged the first half with the home side shading the second. It was backs to the wall at time for both sides.  Both sides carved out chances but were faced keepers who on top of their games.

The ref seemingly doing his best to help the home side with a array of yellow cards and free kicks against City, a couple were perhaps deserved but equally some were not. He totally refused to see Becchio pushed to the ground in their area near the end of the game.

Shame we didn't see Becchio until the 87th minute, but I would imagine it was hard to make a change without being forced into it,  Hope Pilkington's injury isn't serious as he hobbled off after 23 minutes.

A very hard earned point on the road with a clean sheet against a team fightening for their lives and having spent the sort of money City can only dream about.  Is a massive result.

I know which manager  will be crying overhis tea in the dressing room, and I doubt it will be Hughton. His expensive troops still cannot inspire the win that everyone predicted.
