Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki is reportedly causing a headache for commentators in Malaysia due to his surname translating directly to "c**t".

Pukki was handed the PFA Player of the Month award for August following a superb start to life in the Premier League during which the Finnish striker scored five goals and claimed one assist in his opening four games.

His sudden popularity has caused a problem though for Stadium Astro, Malaysia's main TV sports channel, whose commentatory teams are finding it difficult to get around the expletive.

According to The Sun, this phenomenon has provoked the fascination of Malaysian football fans, with the 29-year-old now trending every week in the South-East Asian country.

Pukki moved to Carrow Road on a free transfer last year and netted 30 goals in his debut campaign as Norwich returned to the top flight.
