PRESTON have agreed a fee with Norwich to bring Declan Rudd back to Deepdale acording to reports in The Sun this morning
The 26-year-old had an option triggered on his Carrow Road contract but that has not stopped Simon Grayson targeting him.
Preston are ready to pay £1million for the goalkeeper, who will discuss personal terms before securing his move.
Rudd was at Charlton on loan last season where he has been No.1 for the League One side.
But he is set to move back to the Championship, with Preston snapping him up after monitoring his progress.
Rudd spent two separate loan spells with North End while he was an understudy to John Ruddy at Carrow Road.
And with highly-rated youngster Angus Gunn arriving from Manchester City on loan, Rudd has been looking at his options for next season.
He returned to Norwich from Preston three years ago and was allowed out on loan again this season to get regular games.
But he is set to compete with Chris Maxwell as Grayson’s first-choice as Preston look to mount a promotion challenge next season.
