Aston Villa have been linked with a move for Norwich City playmaker Emi Buendia.
Buendia was linked with Villa earlier this window and the Daily Mail are claiming that Dean Smith's side and Premier League rivals Leeds United are 'vying' to make a move.
The clubs have until Friday at 5pm to get a deal done as that is when the window for transfers between Premier League and English Football League (EFL) clubs shuts.
Buendia, who return from an absence to make his first appearance of the season against Derby County before the international break, is into his third season with Norwich.
The 23 year-old starred in a struggling Norwich side, who finished bottom, last season, with only Villa captain Jack Grealish, Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold creating more chances than Buendia.
He has also been linked with a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce and sadly for Norwich where Buendia is a fans favourite a stay in the Championship this season for him now looks unlikely.
