Leeds United have submitted a £15m bid for Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell according to reports circulating on the internet this morning.
Football Insider claim Marcelo Bielsa’s side have tabled a bid after scouting the England Under-21 international extensively last season.
It is claimed that Cantwell has been left out of Norwich’s squad for their Championship clash at Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
Cantwell has two years left on his Carrow Road deal after renewing terms last summer.
The Canaries are also bracing themselves for more interest in young defender Max Aarons before the end of the transfer window, which ends for overseas clubs on October 5 but domestic deals can still take place until October 16.
Barcelona appear to have beaten Bayern Munich to the signature of Ajax right back Sergino Dest, prompting questions whether the Germans will now switch their attention to City’s right back.
