Transfer Rumour: Norwich City Rekindle Interest In Ross McCormack

Championship club Norwich City are claimed to have made an enquiry for Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Aston Villa splashed around £12 million to secure the services of Ross McCormack from Fulham this summer and his arrival was expected to propel the Villans to promotion into the Premier League.

However, it has to be said that McCormack’s transfer to Villa has proven to be an unmitigated disaster and following a public bust-up with manager Steve Bruce, it looks like the Scottish international’s time at Villa Park is all but over.

There has been widespread claims that Villa will be looking to get rid of McCormack during the final few days of the current transfer window and now Norwich City are said to be keen on taking a chance on the 30-year-old.

Norwich were interested in signing McCormack over the summer but they lost out to Villa. Now with McCormack unwanted by Villa, Norwich are set to revisit their interest in acquiring the services of the ex-Leeds United star and there a good chance that the Canaries will be able to get the deal done for the right price.
