Norwich City are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Orjan Nyland according to an article published yesterday on the Pinkun.
Nyland has struggled to get first team game time with Dean Smith’s side this season, and as yet he is still to make a league appearance for Villa this season due to the impressive performances from the club's summer arrival Emiliano Martínez.
As a consequence reports suggest that Nyland could be set for a move elsewhere in the January transfer window, with Norwich City believed to be keen on a deal to sign the Norwegian shot-stopper at least on loan until the end of the season as cover for injured goalkeeper Michael McGovern who is likely to be out until the end of term with a hamstring injury.
A move to the Carrow Road based club could be tempting the 30-year-old as well, with the Norwich well in contention to win promotion back into the Premier League at the first time of asking sitting four points clear at the half way stage of the season.
