A rumour that just refuses to go away is the one that Norwich City are reportedly in a “three-way tussle” with Hannover 96 and Hamburger SV for the signature of Marvin Bakalorz according to German website Sportbuzzer.de
Bakalorz is recently relegated Hannover’s Captain and he is out of contract this summer and therefore available on a free transfer, which has alerted a number of suitors, particularly in Germany.
Hannover now have a problem because Bakalorz is a very good, tough defensive midfielder and he could walk away for nothing.
The 29-year-old is, according to Sportbuzzer, still considering a new contract offer from Hannover but Hamburg are offering a bigger financial package to him.
Hamburg were relegated for the first time in their history to Bundesliga 2 at the end of the 2017/18 season and failed to win promoted back to the Bundesliga last season.
