Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay is reportedly wanted by Norwich City for a January transfer.
The 18-year-old right-back has been a star performer under Stephen Glass this season, and has been tipped as a Scotland international of the future.
Ramsay has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Leicester City, as clubs south of the border look to get their hands on the next rising star.
According to the Scottish Sun Premier League strugglers Norwich have also entered the fray and could look to test the waters with a January bid.
While Aberdeen will want to hang on to one of their prize assets, manager Glass has admitted they could be fielding bids this winter.
He said: " I wouldn’t be surprised, let’s be honest about that.
"He’s in a similar position to a lot of young players in Scotland in that they’re attractive to clubs down south.
“They see it as a very affordable option up here, they get incredible value when they come to this league.
“The players they play with, the players they play against and the experiences they get - clubs think this is a very good learning environment for them.
“Players who have gone south in recent years have done very well, so that increased the likelihood of the clubs coming back again.
“I don’t get involved in valuations and all that stuff, but John McGinn went down for a decent amount and has done brilliantly.
“There is a good recent history of Scottish young players going down and doing well.
“Players are aware of that, they know they have to produce for their clubs here first.
