Scottish giants Rangers could make a move for Norwich City outcast James Maddison, according to the Scotsman.
The 20-year-old winger has been away from Carrow Road during a loan spell with Aberdeen, and has impressed in the main during what has been a good season for the Dons in the SPL.
However, it now appears that it is Rangers who want to sign the midfielder as they look to improve their squad for next season and close the gap on local Glasgow rivals Celtic.
Maddison was signed by Norwich for a big fee less than two years ago from Coventry City, but has since failed to hold down a regular place in the Norwich side, hence his loan move to Aberdeen this year to get some vital game time under his belt.
With the player due to turn 21 next season, regular first team football could be vital for him, and is not something he is going to be guaranteed at Norwich in the immediate future at least.
