The stories are gathering pace on this one so looks like it will happen in the next couple of days, with Norwich reportedly in talks over a loan move for Chelsea youngster Jake Clarke-Salter.
The defender, 19, has been targeted by Daniel Farke as he looks to put together a squad for the Championship next season.
Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte has taken the youngster on tour to the Far East where the Premier League champions play Inter Milan and Bayern Munich next week.
But he will allow the teenager to go out on loan for experience before returning to the club in a year.
Clarke-Salter spent 2016-17 away on loan, as he turned out 12 times in League One for Bristol Rovers, scoring a single goal – in an injury-hit campaign.
The teenager – who has one Premier League appearance under his belt for Chelsea, against Stoke in March 2016 – has racked up three caps for the England Under-20s.
He recently featured in the 2017 Under-20 World Cup in South Korea – won by England.
Clarke-Salter joined Chelsea back in 2006 and – with the exception of a youth single season at Sutton United – has been a member of the Blues ever since.
